Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Sales Engineer based in Al Jizah, Egypt. The Senior Sales Engineer will identify and develop customer relationships, drive sales opportunities, and provide technical support during the pre-sales and post-sales process. Responsibilities include conducting client presentations, understanding customer needs, delivering customized solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction through responsive communication and service. Collaboration with internal teams to meet sales and technical goals is also a key component of this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a portfolio of plastic converters across Egypt
- Identify and acquire new customers in film, injection, blow molding, and raffia segments
- Provide technical consultation on product selection, dosage optimization, and performance improvement
- Conduct factory visits and oversee product trials
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within company guidelines
- Monitor market pricing, competitor activity, and industry trends
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy receivables
- Coordinate with production and technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Materials, Polymer, or related field)
- 510 years of experience in masterbatch, polymer compounding, or plastic raw materials sales
- Strong technical knowledge of: Filler , Black, White, and Color Masterbatch
Required Skills:
- Strong customer network within the Egyptian plastics industry
- Ability to manage technical trials and solve processing issues
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Results-driven with strong market awareness
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-growing organization
