Job Description

Dear All,

NextEra is looking for a dynamic resourcein Microsoft SQL Database Architect role

Azure Database Migration with technically guided, managed and governed the team. Willing to provide 24x7 support, flexible to work in the shifts

Primary skills:

Understanding customer DB SQL server landscape
Configuring SQL Server HA/DR (FCI, AG) in Azure with multiple subnets and multiple regions, Availability set
Configuring and Administering Security/Policies/Resource Governing/Azure Key Vault
Migrating SQL Server from On-Premises to Azure Cloud using DMA, DMS, Azure Data Studio, Log shipping, Backup & restore and various other migration methods.
Work with Internal stakeholders, Customer stakeholders and Project Managers to understand the migration requirements and provide solutions accordingly
Driving the cloud Solutioning Azure activities for large complex migration
Plan Storage and Capacity Management and create logical models and build physical models
Installing and configuring SQL Server all the versions (200x to 2022)
Hands on experience on Windows and SQL servers issues and troubleshooting.
Knowledgeable on DevOps and leveraging the same for Cloud Migrations

Secondary Skills:

Design, implement and operate database systems for performance and reliability in Azure
On-Prem/Cloud upgrade of SQL Server from Legacy version to latest versions in Azure
Good knowledge in T-SQL scripting & PowerShell script
Good understanding of Database Performance using various tools
Conforming to client compliances and expectations

Certifications (Good to have)

Ability to work well in a team and Excellent problem-solving skills with good communication
