ABL Group is seeking a Senior Surveyor (Energy) to join our growing team in Dubai. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced marine professional to contribute to high-profile offshore projects and support the continued success of our Energy business line.
Key Responsibilities
- Marine surveys: vessel suitability, condition, and marine warranty (towage, load-in/load-out, stowage, lashing, securing).
- Operational support: attend rig moves, marine assurance, and offshore operations.
- Documentation: prepare tenders, proposals, and deliver accurate reports.
- Client engagement: liaise with clients to ensure smooth project execution.
- Coordination: oversee contractors and manage project documentation.
- Business development: promote ABL Group's consulting services and contribute to marketing initiatives.
- QHSE compliance: uphold quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.
Essential
Qualifications & Experience
- Master Mariner or Chief Officer (STCW II/2).
- 5+ years marine/offshore industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards.
- Excellent analytical, operational, and communication skills.
- Flexibility to travel offshore and work across time zones.
Desirable
- Shore-based marine operations experience.
- Familiarity with rig moves and jack-up operations.
- Experience in marine warranty surveys, vessel inspections, and audits.
