Site Engineer – Tier 1 Fit-Out Contractor

A leading Tier 1 fit-out contractor in Dubai is looking to appoint an experienced Site Engineer to join their project delivery team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the site team with the technical delivery and coordination of fit-out works, ensuring construction activities are completed to the required quality, programme and technical standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer with strong fit-out experience to join an established contractor working on high-profile projects across the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day technical management of fit-out works on site.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation to ensure works are delivered correctly.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor site progress and ensure works are completed in accordance with the approved programme.
• Carry out regular site inspections and ensure works meet the required quality standards.
• Identify and resolve technical issues arising during construction.
• Coordinate shop drawings, material submissions and technical approvals.
• Assist with setting out and ensure works are constructed in accordance with approved drawings.
• Prepare and maintain site documentation, reports and inspection records.
• Support the Project Manager and Construction Manager with the successful delivery of the project.
• Ensure all works comply with relevant HSE requirements and project specifications.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–7 years of relevant site engineering experience, preferably within the UAE.
• Strong experience working on interior fit-out, refurbishment or high-end commercial/residential projects.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades on site.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and quality control procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced project environment.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• UAE construction experience is highly desirable.
