We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor – Joinery to oversee day-to-day site activities related to joinery installation works. The role requires strong supervision skills, hands-on experience in joinery, and the ability to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
Site Supervision
- Supervise installation of joinery works including doors, wardrobes, cabinets, kitchens, and wall paneling.
- Monitor daily activities of workers and subcontractors on site.
- Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
Work Planning & Coordination
- Allocate tasks to workers and ensure productivity targets are met.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, and factory production teams.
- Track site progress and report daily updates.
Quality Control
- Inspect ongoing and completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Identify defects and ensure proper rectification.
- Handle snagging and de-snagging activities.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies and site safety requirements.
- Enforce proper use of PPE by all workers.
- Report unsafe conditions and coordinate with HSE officers.
Material & Resource Management
- Monitor material usage and prevent wastage.
- Ensure timely availability of materials and tools at site.
- Coordinate deliveries with the factory/store team.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain daily site records and progress reports.
- Report delays, issues, and site challenges to management.
Qualifications
- Diploma or technical certification in construction, carpentry, or related field.
- Should have at least 5 years of experience as a Site Supervisor in joinery or interior fit-out projects.
- Experience in UAE projects is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of joinery installation and materials.
- Ability to read and understand shop drawings.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
- Basic reporting and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
