Role Purpose
The Senior Art Director is responsible for shaping and delivering high-impact, immersive storytelling experiences across environmental, digital, and visual platforms in both English and Arabic.
With a strong focus on experiential design, this role brings creative concepts to life across activations, installations, branded environments, and supporting digital touchpoints.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Senior Art Director leads the creative process from concept through to execution, ensuring all work aligns with brand objectives, audience engagement, and overall performance goals.
This role requires strong visual thinking, clear creative articulation, and the ability to manage complex projects under tight timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Experiential Concept Development
- Develop innovative and immersive ideas aligned with client marketing objectives and audience behaviour
- Lead brainstorming sessions and pitch development alongside multidisciplinary teams (2D, 3D, digital, content, production)
- Create sketches, mood boards, experience journeys, and high-fidelity mock-ups to communicate creative direction
- Understand cost implications across builds, materials, content, and technology
Environmental & Spatial Design Leadership
- Lead the visual direction of spatial brand experiences including installations, pop-ups, stage design, wayfinding, and brand zones
- Collaborate with production and fabrication teams to ensure concepts are feasible and scalable
- Translate strategy into strong art direction across physical and digital environments
- Develop execution plans and clear consumer journey mapping
Integrated Content & Digital Visuals
- Support the creation of digital content and on-site screen assets (LED, interactive screens, digital signage)
- Ensure work is adaptable for social and digital amplification
- Contribute to content systems that support pre-, during, and post-event storytelling
Creative Ownership & Presentation
- Contribute to creative narratives, presentations, and pitch materials
- Present concepts confidently to internal and external stakeholders
- Take ownership of creative output, ensuring delivery is on-brief, on-time, and on-budget
Collaboration, Mentorship & Creative Operations
- Work closely with client services, production, studio, and strategy teams
- Mentor and guide junior creatives and freelancers to elevate output quality
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and cultural insights

- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Figma or Adobe XD (advantageous)
- Strong sketching ability
- Knowledge of environmental design workflows (signage, print, scale, resolution)
Qualifications & Experience
- 7+ years experience in experiential, brand activation, or integrated creative environments
- Proven experience delivering high-impact campaigns and immersive brand experiences
- Experience working with regional or international brands
- Strong experience presenting to senior stakeholders
- Degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Environmental Design, or similar
- English required; Arabic preferred
