The Social Media Specialist is responsible for managing ruya's social media presence, and online community engagement through ORM, Influencer marketing, high-quality creative content, and leveraging AI tools to enhance digital storytelling.
He / She will develop and implement social media strategies that build brand awareness, creative design, and innovation to strengthen engagement, and foster meaningful connections with the community across all digital channels, while ensuring all communications and visuals are all aligned with ruya's brand voice and Shari'ah principles.
Key responsibilities:
Social Media Management
- Plan and manage monthly content calendars aligned with business objectives, campaigns, and seasonal themes.
- Schedule, upload, and publish content across ruya's social media channels while maintaining a consistent tone of voice.
- Monitor social platforms, respond to comments and inquiries, and foster community engagement.
- Analyze performance metrics (reach, engagement, CTR, conversions) and optimise campaigns based on insights.
- Stay updated on social media trends, emerging platforms, and algorithm updates to enhance reach and engagement.
- Monitor and manage ruya's reputation across all digital touchpoints, including social media channels, Google Business listings, Play Store, and App Store reviews.
Graphic Design & AI Media Production
- Design and edit engaging visuals and multimedia assets, including posts, stories, reels, ads, and digital banners.
- Maintain ruya's visual identity and ensure consistency across all content.
- Collaborate with the marketing team and external partners to develop creative concepts and campaign assets.
- Utilize AI-driven tools
- Experiment with new AI platforms and technologies to produce innovative and distinctive content.
- Build and maintain a library of AI-generated assets for future use.
- Support the production of short-form videos, animations, and motion graphics for digital campaigns.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Media, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in social media management and content creation.
- Strong portfolio showcasing digital design, social campaigns, creative storytelling, influencer outreach and community management
- Hands-on experience with AI creative tools.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics, and content performance tracking.
- Excellent communication and writing skills; bilingual (English and Arabic required).
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about digital innovation.
- Deep understanding of cultural and Shari'ah communication sensitivities.
