Key Responsibilities
Presales & Solution Design
- Analyze RFPs, RFQs, and technical requirements with a strong focus on software development scope.
- Design end‑to‑end software solutions, including architecture, integrations, APIs, data flows, and deployment models.
- Validate solution feasibility against current platforms, frameworks, and internal capabilities.
- Define software architectures (monolithic, microservices, cloud‑native, hybrid).
- Ensure solutions align with non‑functional requirements (performance, scalability, security, availability).
Estimation & Commercial Support
- Estimate development effort, timelines, resources, and dependencies.
- Support pricing accuracy by defining development scope, assumptions, and exclusions.
- Identify risks, scope gaps, and technical constraints early in the presales cycle.
- Clarify ambiguities and assumptions before proposal submission.
Cross‑Functional Coordination
- Collaborate closely with:
- Engineering teams (software, DevOps, QA) for effort and architecture validation
- Product teams for roadmap alignment and feature feasibility
- Security & Compliance teams for secure design and regulatory alignment
- Operations & Support teams for deployment and post‑go‑live readiness
- Consolidate inputs into a clear, consistent, and competitive technical proposal.
Proposal & Documentation
- Build high‑quality technical proposals and RFP responses focused on software solutions.
- Ensure submissions are compliant, technically accurate, and differentiating.
- Document architecture diagrams, scope definitions, assumptions, risks, and dependencies clearly.
Delivery Handover & Governance
- Ensure a smooth handover from presales to delivery teams.
- Participate in internal project kickoffs to ensure full knowledge transfer.
- Help prevent scope creep through clear and structured documentation.
