We are seeking an experienced
Structural Engineer with opportunities across multiple locations, preferably
Ras Al Khaimah or Dubai. The role involves structural design review, site supervision, and coordination with architects, consultants, and project teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of concrete and steel structures. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, hands-on site experience, and the ability to optimize designs while meeting project timelines, budget, and international standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Visit sites & review any risk/discrepancies on structural drawings / execution process and apprise Project team & provide technical support to Site Engineers & field supervisors
- Represent Project team in Client/Consultant meeting on structural designs & execution progress of the Projects
- Analyzing configurations of the basic structural components of building or other structures & advice Project team and the management
- Liaise with other designers, including architects, to agree on safe designs which fit with the aesthetic concept of the construction
- Examine design & construction of structures and advise Project team how to improve the structural integrity
- Investigate ground conditions and analyze results of site tests, such as soil samples before start of Projects
- Liaise & supervise Sub-Contractors to ensure that their work schedules are structurally sound
- Review design, drawings and prepare structural shop drawings for the Projects & coordinate/ advice the Architects/Draftsman accordingly
- Optimizations of existing design concepts in order to meet building technology or budget
- Assist Project team in forming project requirements.
- Preparation and submission of regular and periodical reports on Designs & Site Structural progress to the Engineering Manager and Project team
- Review Tender Structural drawings & involve actively in Estimation process
- Performs additional duties as directed by Engineering Manager / Project Team
- Promote QHSE & ISMS policies within the company and ensure that the quality, environmental, health, safety & Information Security management system procedures are followed at all times, striving for continuous improvement until the effectiveness of the Integrated Management System is achieved
Accountabilities:
- Ensure the zero-error design & execution of concrete structures, meeting the quality standards of client/consultants
- Ensure information security management system is implemented at project
Requirements
- Graduate in Structural Engineering/Civil Engineering or any other relevant discipline from reputed University with Sound Academic Merit
- Over 6 years of experience
- Specialized trainings required (if any): (Concrete & Steel Structural Designs, structural design analysis software's, Auto Cad and International Design Standards, Revit & Primavera)
- Area of experience required: Designs & Evaluation of Concrete & Steel Structures
