Key Responsibilities
1. Planning & Forecasting
- Support demand planning and forecasting activities.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Analyze historical data to anticipate supply requirements.
- Coordinate replenishment plans with suppliers.
2. Procurement & Supplier Management
- Coordinate purchase orders and track supplier performance.
- Ensure timely procurement of raw materials or finished goods.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors.
- Evaluate supplier KPIs (cost, quality, lead time).
3. Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Monitor stock accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Ensure proper inventory control and stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO).
- Conduct regular inventory audits.
- Reduce excess and obsolete stock.
4. Logistics & Distribution
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
- Ensure on-time delivery to customers or production sites.
- Manage transportation providers and optimize freight costs.
- Handle customs and import/export documentation if applicable.
5. Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Track supply chain KPIs (OTIF, inventory turnover, lead time, fill rate).
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
- Identify process gaps and suggest improvement initiatives.
6. Process Improvement
- Implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Support automation and ERP optimization.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 25 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement (adjust based on level).
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices.
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Advanced Excel skills.
