We are looking for a skilled
System Engineer to manage, implement, and troubleshoot VMware and Linux server environments, ensuring high system performance, reliability, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- VMware Administration: Deploy, configure, and maintain vSphere, ESXi hosts, and vCenter; manage virtual machines and implement HA, FT, and DR solutions.
- Linux Administration (RHEL): Install, secure, and optimize Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers; perform upgrades, patching, and service management (DNS, NTP, firewalls).
- Hardware Management: Configure and maintain Dell, Cisco, and HCI servers; monitor system health using iDRAC/iLO/IPMI tools; perform firmware updates and diagnostics.
- Documentation & Support: Maintain system documentation, provide L2/L3 support, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for critical systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 13 years experience in VMware and RHEL administration.
- Strong knowledge of vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and virtualization concepts.
- Proficiency in system security, performance tuning, and networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls).
- Familiarity with backup, DR, and monitoring tools.
- Preferred certifications: VCA, RHCSA, ITIL Foundation.
