About the Role
The role ensures the attraction, selection, and onboarding of top talent while maintaining compliance with local regulations and supporting Kuwaitization objectives.
Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Management
- Supervise and guide the Talent Acquisition team to achieve defined KPIs.
- Provide coaching, development, and performance management to team members.
- Recruitment Strategy & Workforce Planning
- Partner with business leaders to understand workforce needs and develop recruitment plans.
- Build proactive talent pipelines for critical and business-sensitive roles.
- End-to-End Recruitment
- Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition to onboarding.
- Ensure a consistent, efficient, and positive candidate experience.
- Stakeholder Management
- Act as a strategic partner to hiring managers, advising on best hiring practices.
- Ensure alignment between HR and business units on hiring priorities.
- Insurance-Specific Hiring
- Manage recruitment for technical insurance roles including Underwriting, Claims, Actuarial, and Risk functions.
- Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to Kuwait labor laws and internal HR policies.
- Support Kuwaitization targets and regulatory requirements.
- Recruitment Operations & Reporting
- Oversee offer management, onboarding, and documentation processes.
- Monitor recruitment metrics and provide regular reports to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably within insurance or financial services.
- Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
Required Skills
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of Kuwait labor law and GCC hiring practices.
- Proficiency in ATS and sourcing tools.
- Strong communication skills in English; Arabic preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in insurance or financial services.
