Job Summary
We are seeking a Tax Accountant to support the organization's tax compliance and reporting activities. The role is responsible for preparing tax filings, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with internal teams and external auditors to maintain accurate tax records and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to tax planning strategies to optimize the company's tax position
- Provide insights on regulatory changes impacting taxation
- Prepare and file corporate tax returns, VAT, and other statutory reports
- Maintain accurate tax records and documentation
- Ensure tax compliance aligns with financial reporting standards
- Support accurate tax provisions in financial statements
- Collaborate with finance, legal, and operations teams on tax matters
- Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 35 years of experience in tax accounting or related finance roles
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and reporting standards
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems, accounting software, and Microsoft Excel
- Fluent in English
- Ability to maintain accurate tax records and statutory documentation
- Ability to collaborate with internal departments and external auditors
- Ability to analyze tax regulations and ensure compliance with reporting standards
