A private household (local family) in the UAE is seeking a responsible, experienced, and caring live-in Teacher / Governess to provide attentive and high-quality childcare. The Teacher / Governess will support the daily care, education, and well-being of the child, while maintaining a nurturing and safe environment. The ideal candidate will be trustworthy, proactive, and adaptable to the family's routines and values.
- Provide full-time care for the child, ensuring a safe, secure, and stimulating environment.
- Maintain and follow the daily schedule including feeding, bathing, dressing, nap times, and play.
- Plan and engage children in educational and developmental activities appropriate for their age.
- Support learning through storytelling, reading, crafts, music, and supervised outdoor play.
- Monitor and manage the child's health, hygiene, and emotional well-being.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
- Keep the children's rooms, clothing, and play areas clean and organized.
- Accompany children to school, extracurricular activities, or appointments when needed.
- Communicate daily with parents about the child's progress, routines, and any concerns.
- Adhere to family rules, privacy, and cultural sensitivities at all times.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of child development and first aid.
- Kind, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility with working hours, especially in a live-in role.
- Formal childcare training and education degree is preferred
