Technical Lead

• Role Purpose

To lead the technical governance, architectural stabilization, and strategic integration of Bookr's microservices-based SaaS platform into the broader Glamera ecosystem during the transition phase, ensuring scalability, security, and long-term maintainability

• About the Role

We are looking for a senior technical leader to guide the platform through a critical integration and transformation phase.

SaaS platform built on a modern microservices architecture (NestJS, Kafka, PostgreSQL + MongoDB, Azure infrastructure, Odoo integrations) .

We need a hands-onTechnical Lead to stabilize, optimize, and align the platform with Glamera's regional SaaS expansion strategy.

This is not a maintenance role.

This is an architecture ownership + integration leadership position.

• What You'll Own

Architecture & Governance

• Own and document the current Bookr system architecture (microservices, Kafka, databases, Azure infra).
• Optimize PostgreSQL schema migrations & indexing performance.
• Reduce microservices latency and improve event-driven efficiency (Kafka).
• Refresh architecture diagrams & API documentation.
• Define target-state architecture aligned with Glamera SaaS strategy.

Integration Leadership (Glamera Bookr)

• Define and execute technical integration roadmap.
• Harmonize authentication, API gateway strategy, and data sync governance.
• Prevent duplication of services.
• Enable scalable multi-entity SaaS expansion.

DevSecOps & Quality

• Introduce automated security scanning into CI/CD.
• Strengthen release governance & regression cycles.
• Enhance load testing frequency (currently bi-annual).
• Align platform toward future ISO / SOC2 readiness.

AI & Automation

• AI & Engineering Evolution
• Drive AI-assisted development practices.
• Introduce modern engineering tools and automation.
• Leverage Kafka, n8n, Trigger.dev ecosystem.
• Introduce AI-assisted development workflows.
• Build internal AI-powered knowledge system for:
• Codebase queries
• Architecture documentation
• Business logic exploration
• Reduce dependency on individuals through structured documentation.

Team Leading

You will:

• Define domain ownership clearly.
• Improve onboarding & documentation.
• Establish architectural review governance.
• Assess hiring needs during integration.

Who You Are

• 8+ years in SaaS architecture.
• Strong background in distributed systems.
• Experience in M&A tech integrations (preferred).
• Deep understanding of microservices governance.
• Comfortable leading during transition and ambiguity.
• Strong DevSecOps mindset.
• Capable of hands-on architectural intervention.
• Capable to migrate codebases into AI-native workflows where relevant (Claude preferred)
