Role Description

Technical office engineer role is to support project execution by preparing technical documents, drawings, quantities, and coordination between design, production, procurement, and site teams to ensure projects are delivered according to specifications, time, and cost. execution.

Responsibilities:

1. Technical & Engineering Tasks

Review project specifications, drawings, and BOQs.

Prepare and revise shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical submittals.

Coordinate with consultants and clients for approvals and clarifications.

Solve technical issues and propose engineering solutions.

2. Quantity Surveying

Prepare quantity take-offs and material lists.

Assist in preparing cost estimates and variations.

Monitor material consumption vs. approved BOQs.

3. Coordination & Communication

Coordinate between design, production, procurement, and site teams.

Issue technical clarifications to site engineers and supervisors.

Follow up on approvals and RFIs (Requests for Information).

4. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and approvals.

Prepare technical reports, method statements, and material submittals.

Ensure compliance with project standards, codes, and specifications.

5. Planning & Support

Support project planning schedules (material delivery, fabrication, installation).

Assist in risk identification and technical problem-solving.

Support project handover and final documentation.

Requirements:

1. Education: BSc in Civil / Architectural / Industrial Engineering / fine arts/ applied arts .

2. Previous Experience: 02 years (Junior)and37 years (Senior) Experience in construction, steel fabrication, doors/windows, or related field preferred.
