Currently we are looking to hire Mechanical Technical Engineer to Join our technical team in Cairo as following criteria
Responsibilities
- Study the tender documents (PTS, Employer requirements, ITB, Schedules, etc.).
- Prepare Pre-Bid Clarification requests to the client related to the tender documents (PTS, Employer requirements, etc.)
- Coordinate with engineering department to receive essential input for the tendering project (buildings dimension sheet, MTO/BOQ, clarification, etc.)
- Segregate the SOW with their relevant documents into separate systems which fall under mechanical scope of work (HVAC, Firefighting, Physical security, Plumbing, Piping, sanitary system, storage tanks, MEP, etc.)
- Prepare the RFQs for each discipline/system of the mechanical scope with their related MTOs/BOQs and engineering inputs and sending them to the venders/suppliers.
- Follow up with the venders/suppliers regarding the submitted RFQs and clarify the SOW to them.
- Evaluate the received quotations from all the Subcontractors/ venders/suppliers, qualify the technical acceptable quotations and dis-qualify the technical unacceptable quotations.
- Reach the suppliers with technically uncompliant quotations for clarification and further revisions if needed.
- Conduct commercial comparison of the received quotations for each discipline/system. Conduct direct cost analysis and estimation (manpower, equipment, tools, materials, etc..), utilizing CANDY for the direct construction costs analysis.
- Prepare the manpower mobilization histogram and Equipment mobilization chart based on the Direct Costs Estimated.
- Assist the Estimation Manager with the In-Direct cost analysis and estimation (Staff, accommodation, transportation, site facilities etc.).
- Prepare the commercial proposal submittals (Selling price breakdown, and any other commercial submittals).
- Provide answers to any post-bid clarification requests/ meetings with the client and participate with any commercial reviews.
Qualification & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- Proven experience in related field.
- Strong in MS Office AutoCAD.
- Site experience in related field.
- Effective communication skills.

- Time Management & problem-solving skills
