Technician, Maintenance (Auto)

JOB PURPOSE

Carry out preventive & corrective maintenance, inspections, and repair works for all assigned automotive fleet
equipment, as per equipment standards and manufacturers recommendations resulting optimum integrity and
reliability.

Job Specific Accountabilities
Auto Maintenance
u2022 Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, transmissionu00A0flushes, air conditioner re-charges, front-end alignments, battery installations and headlight/taillight
installations, ensuring compliance to HSE standards and technical guidelines.
u2022 Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customersu2019 problems and provideu00A0accurate repair recommendations for timely maintenance as per defined guidelines.
u2022 Inspect vehicles according to the requirements for emissions and safety conduct necessary repairsu00A0and take vehicles for test drives to verify soundness.
u2022 Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.
u2022 Conduct regular routine and scheduled inspection and maintenance of all auto equipment to supportu00A0achievement of integrity and equipment efficiency.
u2022 Test vehicles and static equipment after repair for satisfactory operations.
u2022 Work correctly to diagrams and read test gauges and meters.
u2022 Arrange and participate in the inspection of equipment for quality related schedules, and as required.
u2022 Prepare and participate in both internal and external ISO / quality audits as and when required to ensureu00A0complete support to the audit process.
u2022 Understand computerized maintenance management system and participate in the preventive,condition based, breakdown maintenance jobs on a day-to-day basis including data compilation in theu00A0software and preparation of the required reports.

u2022 Maintain continuous system operation by adjusting, repairing, replacing, or modifying automotiveu00A0system components
u2022 Attend all assigned breakdowns promptly, carry out necessary repair works and ensure that equipmentu00A0is returned to service as soon as possible, while ensuring all safety precautions are taken.
u2022 Ensure the safety instructions are rigidly adhered to during all stages of the work in a hazardous areau00A0(safety checks).
u2022 Provide information to Team Leader on the status of preventive and repair work scheduling,processing of work orders and safety work permits.

Training
u2022 Provide on-the-job Training to meet Competency Based Training programs for UAE Nationalization.

Tool Box
u2022 Maintain all tools, safety gear and equipment provided by company safely and in working condition.
u2022 Arrange for repair or replacement of any tools and safety gear that may not be in good working condition.

Time Management
u2022 Carry out all maintenance jobs in line with assigned time standards.
u2022 Inform the Maintenance Supervisor in case additional resources are required to carry out the job withinu00A0the assigned time frame.

u2022 Contribute to the identification of areas and opportunities for continuous improvement in the operatingu00A0procedures, modification of functional processes, machinery or equipment.

u2022 Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainabilityu00A0guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.
u2022 Participate in Emergency Response duties as a team member.

u2022 Maintain the work environment clean and tidy before, during and after executing the job, in line with
established standards of Hygiene and Housekeeping.

Reports
u2022 Collect technical data from the field as required and provide inputs to prepare Section progress reportsu00A0for Company Management.
u2022 Provide input for the preparation of Method statements and initiate Near Miss reports

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

u00A0

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical discipline
• At least 4 years experience in preventive & corrective maintenance, inspections, and repair works for all assigned automotive fleet
  equipment
