We are Looking for a trade marketing manager for one of our clients based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia:
Title: Trade marketing manager
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Experience: 8 years experience in the food industry with experience in the food division.
Jobsummary: Sales strategy driver and expert in planning visual merchandising, pricing trade margins, price per liter management, sales delivery of certain group or type of products across all channels and Take charge of trade promotion design, promo pricing channel wisely and directing channel teams (Retail and Non-Retail) Min Core SKUs (MSL) with their organization on shelf (planogram). Aim at Growing category business by region, by channel as per category dynamics in alignment with marketing strategy, hence, to ensure we capture the trade sentiment and gain rightful share of business.
Roles and Responsilities:
1. Strategic Contribution
- Execute the annual business plan and targets and comply with the strategic agenda of the Sales & Distribution / Trade Marketing to deliver the vision and mission.
- Translate the strategy into operational business plans for the Sales & Distribution / Trade Marketing lead the performance and execution of those plans to achieve functional objectives and deliver the Companys strategy.
2. Budgeting
Participate in the preparation of the functional budget and assess financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized.
3. Accountability
- Design category trade plans by channel following the aligned brand strategy to ensure achievement of desired market share in terms of volume & value and optimum distribution.
- Understand and translate category business needs into value propositions, generating sales and profit for the company.
- Coordinate with below the line (BTL) marketing agencies to develop and produce point of sales material, ensure all materials are as per brand guidelines and monitor timely execution on-trade.
- Create promotion calendar that follows established promotion guidelines and best practices and ensures optimal return on investment
- Proactively gather information and intelligence on competition and their trade activities, in order to develop a timely and robust response and future strategy proactively.
- Recommend comprehensive sales solutions based on market understanding to drive market share and ensure the protection of overall brand volume and value.
- Analyze the volatility and variability of supply and demand through past sales data, data trends analytics, in-order to define/forecast monthly needs and ensure constant catering of all channels needs.
- Finalize Monthly, Weekly and Annual Category Plans for the region.
Qualification & Experience
Qualification : Degree in business/Marketing/Sales.
