Job Summary
As a Transmission Engineer you will oversee the Operation and maintenance of transmission equipment's and circuits which used to serve major internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, test, and connect transmission circuits for clients, whether in emergency situations or according to predetermined schedules.
- Ensure compliance with KPIs and SLA standards signed with major transmission clients.
- Monitoring the transmission equipment network 24/7 and achieve an average fault elimination time within agreed KPIs in addition to the downtime latency and removing customer circuit malfunctions (level II) caused by transmission equipment. In accordance with SLA standards signed with clients.
- Implement preventive maintenance plans to enhance the efficiency of the transmission network, aligning with agreed KPIs, and implement solutions to remove the SPOF within the scope of operation and maintenance of transmission equipment's.
- Implement plans to improve transmission service quality using OSS tools, both for existing services and ongoing projects.
- -Contribute to plans for replacing obsolete transmission equipment, service transfers, and modeling transmission sites. Update crisis and disaster plans based on agreed KPIs.
- Attend field surveys to test newly received transmission equipment and rings in accordance with the standards and OLAs agreed upon with various customers and vendors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering major: communications - mechatronics– computers
- 2-5 years of relevant experience.
