  • Undertake transport modelling and forecasting, including demand analysis and scenario testing.
  • Develop and apply models using PTV Visum and support microsimulation where required using PTV Vissim.
  • Carry out data processing, model calibration, and validation in line with project and authority requirements.
  • Perform junction and corridor assessments using tools such as Synchro and SIDRA.
  • Analyse model outputs and traffic data to develop clear, practical mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare technical reports and TIS submissions to a high standard.
  • Liaise with RTA, developers, and internal teams to support approvals and project delivery.
  • Support senior staff in model development, QA, and technical reviews.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in transport planning and modelling, with strong analytical capability.
  • Demonstrated experience in Traffic Impact Studies (TIS) and familiarity with Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) processes and submission requirements.
  • Strong proficiency in transport modelling tools such as PTV Visum, PTV Vissim, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with junction modelling and traffic analysis tools (e.g. Synchro, SIDRA).
  • Experience in applying modelling for TIS, master planning, and transport strategy studies.
  • Strong understanding of transport planning fundamentals, including trip generation, distribution, assignment, and network performance analysis.
  • Experience in data analysis and handling transport datasets; having programming skills (e.g. Python) is advantageous.
  • Good understanding of Dubai transport context, including integration of land use and transport planning.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and technical report-writing skills.

Previous Experience In The UAE/GCC Is Preferred.
