About the Role:

The Head of Working Capital & Real Estate Lending is responsible for leading the design, management, and performance of RAKBANK's Working Capital and Real Estate Lending product suite for Business Banking customers. The role focuses on driving sustainable growth, profitability, and customer relevance through innovative product development, lifecycle management, pricing strategy, and risk optimization. You will work closely with the Head of Product – Business Banking to shape RAKBANK's lending proposition for SMEs and commercial clients, ensuring alignment with the bank's strategic priorities and market needs, and reports directly to the Head of Product – Business Banking.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develop and own the strategy for Working Capital and Real Estate Lending products.
  • Define and execute product roadmap to drive portfolio growth and profitability.
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews to monitor performance and pricing effectiveness.
  • Identify new product opportunities and digital enablement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Digital Banking, Credit, Risk, Operations, and Compliance teams for product launches.
  • Leverage data and customer insights for innovation and differentiation.
  • Manage P&L for working capital & real estate portfolios.
  • Develop annual product plans, pricing strategies, and performance targets.
  • Track product performance and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal risk policies.
  • Maintain sound portfolio quality and prudent underwriting standards.
  • Lead a team of Product Managers and Analysts.
  • Represent product agenda in cross-functional forums and governance committees.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 10 years of banking or financial services experience, with at least 5–7 years in product management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of SME banking ecosystem and credit programs.
  • Proven ability to manage product lifecycle and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Leadership experience with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
