The Role

As Vice President, Sales - Telecom, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Advatec's growth trajectory. This is a senior leadership position, in a fast-growing business, it requires someone comfortable being hands-on in driving customer engagements and closing deals.

You will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to define and execute our sales and go-to-market strategy, while leading opportunities with clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver the company's telecom sales strategy to drive sustainable growth.
  • Own and achieve annual sales and revenue targets.
  • Lead strategic customer and partner engagements, while building long-term relationships at C-level.
  • Develop and expand partnerships with global vendors, service providers, and regulators.
  • Shape and grow the sales organization, leading others as the business scales.
  • Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to create tailored, high-value customer solutions.
  • Balance executive leadership with a proactive, hands-on approach.

Experience & Expertise

  • 12+ years of sales and business development experience in telecom and ICT, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Proven ability to structure and close multi-million-dollar opportunities with telecom operators, regulators, and enterprise customers.
  • Experience influencing at board and C-level, with excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: thrives in a growing business, willing to lead from the front and get directly involved in execution.

  • Strong relationship-building skills with customers, partners, and suppliers.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical strength and a proactive, results-driven mindset.
  • Knowledge of relevant technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
