A US-based company that is using advanced, proprietary AI and machine learning technology to help users boost their creativity, is looking for a Web Front-End Developer. The selected candidate will be collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and designers to discuss and ensure the technical feasibility of the UI/UX designs. The company harnesses the power of technology to allow aspiring artists to express themselves creatively while also removing creative roadblocks for professionals. This position requires 3+ hours overlap with the PST time zone.
Job Responsibilities:- Create new functions
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to develop application code
- Improve the user experience by iterating quickly on new and existing features
- Create brand new items to assist artists all over the world
Job Requirements:- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5+ years of experience working as a front-end developer
- A desire to assist artists to improve their skills and a passion for music or music-making
- Complete list of references to verify experience and abilities
- 3+ years of experience with React
- 5+ years of experience with Javascript and CSS+HTML
- Experience with building consumer-centric PWA/SPAs
- Unit test development and front-end testing experience
- Connecting to the Firebase backend and using real-time databases is a must
- Experience optimizing load and render times using REST Redux or other state management with React
- Github experience is a must
- Capable of pixel-perfect implementation of a design
- Familiarity with server-side rendering is a bonus
- General coding knowledge including algorithms and design is nice to have
- Familiarity with Agile development practices is a plus
- CI/CD is a plus, but not required
- Write clean, modular, maintainable code
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly in English both written and spoken
