Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to oversee the financial operations, reporting, and compliance functions across multiple business verticals and international jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in financial reporting, IFRS, VAT compliance, forex risk management, and intercompany consolidation.

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Manage and oversee end-to-end finance and accounting operations, including: Monthly/Year-end closing
  • Accruals, amortizations
  • Reconciliations and general ledger maintenance

  • Lead the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and board decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and other statutory regulations.

Group Consolidation & Performance Reporting

  • Lead cross-border financial consolidation across multi-sector operations in manufacturing, logistics, real estate, etc.
  • Monitor and report on business unit performance and ensure group-level transparency.

Audit & Compliance

  • Coordinate and lead internal and external audits across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Ensure timely and clean audit closures while improving audit turnaround time.
  • Ensure full compliance with local VAT laws including return filings, documentation, and audit readiness.

Cash Flow, Treasury & FX Management

  • Develop and implement cash flow strategies to improve liquidity and reduce financing costs.
  • Manage multi-currency transactions and hedge FX risk exposure effectively.
  • Optimize treasury operations and utilize surplus funds efficiently.

Internal Controls & Intercompany Reconciliations

  • Collaborate with regional teams to strengthen internal controls and enhance the accuracy of intercompany reconciliations.
  • Implement best practices for financial integrity and data validation across business entities.

Team Management

  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team.
  • Mentor junior staff and enhance productivity and process efficiency.

Key Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • Master's degree in Commerce or Finance preferred
  • Minimum 6-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in multi-entity, cross-border organizations
  • Prior experience working in UAE with strong knowledge of UAE VAT compliance
  • Speaking English fluently and French is a plus

Technical Skills

  • ERP Systems: SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • BI & Reporting Tools: Advanced Excel, Power BI
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and international financial practices
