As Edge continues to deliver high-profile AV projects across the region, this role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, including month-end closing, compliance, banking, reconciliations, and commercial financial analysis to support the business.

Job Requirements
- Responsible for day-to-day accounting, and preparation of monthly GL activities, journals, and accruals
- Month-end closing in ERP and reporting of P&L, balance sheet, and cashflow to the management
- Prepare and provide all necessary documents for external audit as well as other compliance processes required
- Responsible for filling, submission, and payment of TAX/VAT returns and other government-related documents and ad-hoc visit Gov. offices
- Should be well versed with Banking operations specifically LC-related documentation, and LC Conditions Bank reconciliation. liaising with Bank, etc
- Debtors management and control adhere to the defined credit policies. Liaising with Customers, contribute to a strong client relationship through positive interactions with client personnel.
- Recommend financial actions by analyzing the business cases for Pricing/Discount/Vendor negotiations etc.
- Perform all required reconciliations; Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile transactions with the bank, supplier, and third party
- Ensure compliance with group policies and business processes and controls
- Communicate effectively with clients and management on work status and client issues that arise.

Job Responsibilities
- BSc in Accounting/Finance or equivalent qualification.
- Additional professional certification (CA, CPA, or CMA) is a big plus
- Minimum of 3 years of Finance experience in Qatar
- Excellent knowledge of local Finance regulations and procedures
- Effective coordination among regional teams and self-driven
- Advanced MS Excel skills including V lookups and pivot tables and hands-on experience in ERP
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
