Job description:
Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual with a passion for numbers and financial management We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team in the UAE.
Responsibilities:
Supplier Management:
- Develop strong relationships with current and new suppliers.
- Purchase goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.
- Prepare purchase orders based on final negotiations with selected suppliers and organizational targets.
- Undertake research on and evaluate existing and new suppliers.
- Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues.
- Assess tenders and quotations from potential suppliers.
Financial Record Keeping:
- Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial transactions.
- Bookkeeping:
- Record daily financial transactions on QuickBooks software.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial documents.
- Track expenses, revenues, and other financial activities.
Financial Analysis:
- Prepare financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements).
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and monitor budgets.
- Assist in creating accurate financial forecasts and projections.
Tax Compliance:
- Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Audit Support:
- Provide necessary documentation and assistance during internal and external audits.
- Organize financial records for audit purposes.
Financial Reporting:
- Generate regular financial reports for management.
- Provide insights into the company's financial performance.
- Vendor and Client Relations:
- Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
- Manage invoicing, payments, and financial discrepancies.
Expense Management:
- Monitor and control company expenses.
- Review expense reports and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Process Improvement:
- Continuously assess and improve financial processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in accounting or finance roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks and MS Excel).
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Candidate must be currently located in the UAE.
- Candidate must be immediately available to join.
