Key Job Responsibilities:
The Assistant Procurement Manager will be responsible for coordinating and executing procurement activities.
- Preparing comprehensive MIS reports and dashboards for procurement, including PowerBI, procurement automation, cost-saving analysis, and outsourcing strategies.
- Tracking and reporting on Capex and project statuses, conducting monthly training sessions, and holding weekly meetings with stakeholders.
- Assisting in the preparation and execution of procurement plans and strategies.
- Conducting thorough market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
- Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
- Monitoring supplier performance and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Managing and maintaining accurate records of procurement activities and transactions.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide support.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain (Preferable)
- 8 15 years of experience in a Buyer or Procurement position.
- Strong understanding of Procurement practices
- Strong technical skills in MS Office, Power Bi, Excel and SAP
- Proven experience in Procuring Raw Materials in a Manufacturing environment or similar
- Full UAE Driving License (Must Have)
