Back End Developer

Job description:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and backend logic with performance and security in mind
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Frontend, Product, and DevOps teams to deliver business-critical features
• Integrate databases, third-party services, and external APIs seamlessly
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code aligned with best practices
• Debug, troubleshoot, and proactively optimize system performance
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and knowledge sharing
• Contribute to continuous improvement of architecture, tooling, and development workflows

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Backend Developer
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and backend frameworks (e.g. Express.js, NestJS)
• Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar)
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, authentication, and authorization mechanisms
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
• Understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and microservices concepts
• Experience with testing frameworks and debugging tools
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a team
