Business Analyst Remote (Egypt)
A growing technology company operating in the software and digital services sector, delivering cloud-enabled products and platforms to enterprise and SMB customers. We seek a results-driven Business Analyst to join a remote-first team in Egypt and translate business goals into measurable product and operational outcomes.
Role & Responsibilities
- Partner with product managers, engineering, and operations to elicit and document clear business and technical requirements; convert requirements into prioritized user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze datasets using SQL and Excel to uncover trends, define KPIs, and provide actionable recommendations to improve product performance and customer experience.
- Design and maintain dashboards and visual reports in Power BI or Tableau to surface metrics for stakeholders and inform decision-making.
- Manage backlog items in JIRA and maintain knowledge artifacts in Confluence; support sprint planning, refinement, and release activities.
- Map, model, and optimize business processes using BPMN/Visio and define success criteria and SLAs for new features and operational changes.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), collect feedback, and ensure delivered solutions meet requirements and quality standards.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role with hands-on SQL and Excel skills.
- Experience creating dashboards and visualisations in Power BI or Tableau.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery and working with JIRA and Confluence.
- Demonstrated ability to produce clear user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Strong stakeholder collaboration experience across product, engineering, and operations in a remote environment.
Preferred
- Professional certification such as CBAP or PMI-PBA.
- Prior experience in SaaS, fintech, payments, or digital platforms.
- Fluency in Arabic and English for stakeholder communication across MENA.
