Job description

The ideal candidate will cultivate relationships with prospective clients in order to catalyze business development success. This individual will schedule meetings with clients in order to understand their needs. They will also work closely with sales and marketing teams to uncover new leads.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and expand business partnerships by opening new accounts with online marketplaces in the UAE and KSA.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with marketplace category managers and key decision-makers,
  • Negotiate and manage partnership agreements, ensuring favorable terms for Smartt Al.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of products onto new marketplaces, ensuring smooth account setup and integration.
  • Monitor marketplace performance and recommend optimization strategies to improve visibility and sales.
  • Address any issues related to account setup, marketplace operations, or product compliance.
  • Provide strategic input to support the business's marketplace expansion goals.
  • Business Development:
  • Identify and qualify potential B2B clients, brands, and partners aligned with Smartt Al's e-commerce offering
  • Initiate outreach via email, Linkedin, or cold calling to introduce Smartt Al's services and build interest
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs and tailor proposals accordingly
  • Create and present customized pitch decks, service overviews, and pricing structures
  • Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to closing, using CRM tools to track activity and progress
  • Collaborate with the CEO, Customer success manager and marketing team to align business development strategies with company goals
  • Attend relevant industry events or virtual networking opportunities to represent the company and generate leads if needed
  • Gather market intelligence and competitor insights to refine the value proposition and BD approach
  • Prepare regular reports on business development performance, key wins, and opportunities

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of experience in related role ( E-Commerce )
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Sales and Prospecting skills
  • Lead generation and Qualification
