Job Summary

To hunt, develop, and secure new business opportunities to ensure top & bottom-line growth.

To act as a commercial focal point to the customer, manage internal & external stakeholder, to deliver best in class solutions in service-levels.

BDM role is to improve Pentagon's market position and achieve financial growth. The BD Manager builds and maintains key customer relationships and identifies business opportunities.

Job Description

Face and ambassador of Pentagon for the customer. Build partnership with key client decision makers and influencers. Develop trusted advisor relationship with own clients.

Identify sales targets & convert new business opportunities.

Negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions and competitors.

Achieve and exceed revenue and gross profit targets.

Remains engaged with clients through continuous communications, and meetings.

To ensure minimum monthly calls/meeting targets are met.

Maintain & actively develop sales pipeline and enter on CW system.

Deliver effective sales presentations & win-win solutions to customers.

Develop Client/Sales Development Plan and strategy to grow profitable business.

Lead RFQ submission & collaborate with pricing and network to deliver a competitive solution.

Actively participate and lead MBR & QBR align with stakeholders to collate data as required.

Support marketing activities, including trade shows and industry events.

Assist management in preparing budget forecast projections.

What we're Looking for:

Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role

Thorough understanding of global business, transportation and logistics and financial acumen.

Ability to analyze problems and strategize for the business.

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

ME freight forwarding sales experience.
