Job Description

At Repserve we employ high-quality sales representatives and lease them out on a shared-time basis to international manufacturers, allowing our clients to enter new markets or grow in existing ones, quickly, cost-effectively, and risk-free. Our client is a UK-based design and manufacturing company specializing in high-quality, contemporary furniture and interior solutions. They create innovative products for both residential and commercial spaces, combining functionality with modern aesthetics. With a strong focus on sustainability and design excellence, they deliver products that enhance living and working environments globally.

We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to help our client expand their market presence and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the furniture, interior design, or lifestyle products sector and be skilled in building lasting client relationships while identifying new business opportunities.

Our Reps have a maximum of 3 complimentary (never competing) clients. They answer all calls and emails at all times but manage their physical client time to suit the time allocation selected by the client.

This role is for an allocation of 25% of your time40 hours per monthfor a flexible, fractional arrangement.

Your day-to-day expenses will be covered (ie petrol, parking, tolls, mobile call charges, etc.) Larger expenses such as international travel, hotels, and large group entertainment should be approved by your client prior to incurring.

Your client will be encouraged to pay a sales commission based on performance. If they choose to do this, the structure of their commission scheme shall be discussed and agreed between you and your client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify genuine lighting opportunities directly with A&D contacts, building services consultants, project managers and end-users in the commercial, education, life science and healthcare sectors.
  • Arrange and attend meetings, both informally and as formal presentations, to educate the target audience on our client's products and value proposition.
  • Work with the UK HQ team to prepare and then present compelling proposals, tailored to the unique requirements of clients.
  • Continually and persistently follow up on all enquiries and quoted project opportunities to secure business.
  • Maintain and expand the existing relationships held in the UAE by our client's management team.
  • Work with our client's preferred local importing & trading partner to deliver mutually beneficial results.
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports on all market activity on a weekly basis.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and follow opportunities through the pipeline to closure.
  • Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients and expand the client base in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of Business Development experience in the commercial lighting industry preferably in the UK or UAE.
  • Fearlessness and relentless in pursuit of opportunities.
  • Wide, existing network of relevant and active contacts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed.
  • Must have the ability and willingness to travel without restrictions.
  • Must have UAE driving license and own vehicle.
  • Must have own IT tools.
