Job Description

The Business Development Manager drives growth for by identifying new opportunities, building strategic client relationships, and positioning the agencys marketing and communications services in the market. The role ensures company capabilities are translated into compelling solutions that meet client needs, strengthen the company portfolio, and support long-term revenue expansion.Bottom of Form

Key Responsibilities

  • New Business Opportunities Identification: Finding and analyzing possible business ventures, clients, and markets.
  • Lead Generation: Developing strategies for generating new leads and converting them into business opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Creating and fostering great client and partner relationships to support long-term business success.
  • Sales Strategy Formulation: Developing and executing sales tactics to attain revenue objectives.
  • Market Analysis and Research: Conducting research on market trends, competitors, and customer preference to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Negotiating and Closing deals: Negotiating and closing deals with potential customers or partners.
  • Working with Internal Teams: Working with marketing and creative teams to align business development activities with business goals.
  • Proposal Writing: Preparing and presenting proposals, presentations, and business plans to customers or stakeholders.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Monitoring sales performance and reporting key metrics, sales forecasts, and objectives to management.
  • Brand Promotion: Marketing the company at industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to advance the

brand and services.

  • Account Management: Maintaining key accounts and ensuring consistent satisfaction to allow for repeat business.
  • Budget Management: Efficient management and deployment of resources to optimize business development efforts.
  • Performance Monitoring: Tracking the performance of business development activities and realigning as a result.

Requirements


  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 58 years of experience in business development or account management (preferably within a marketing/advertising agency)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid understanding of marketing communications and creative services
