Job Brief:

The Business Development professional will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key customer relationships, and driving revenue growth across assigned regions and accounts. The role requires strong technical sales experience in mechanical and instrumentation products within Oil & Gas and related industries.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular client visits to understand client needs and strategize on how we can value add as entity relevant to the customers requirement
  • Develop business pipeline and enforce strategy for the country and specific customer
  • Review detailed technical & commercial proposals; negotiate pricing and contract terms
  • Introduce product categories and OEMs relevant for clients profile
  • Monitor market trends and identify growth opportunities
  • Manage existing accounts and drive upselling/cross-selling
  • Collaborate with internal engineering, product management, and inside sales teams
  • Follow up on proposals and convert them to sales orders
  • Regular visits to regions or countries allocated

Requirements and skills:

  • Proven track record in business development and technical sales relevant to mechanical and instrumentation products
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory, Knowledge of other languages like French or Portugese would be an add on support but not mandatory
  • Readiness to travel extensively within the region.
  • Prior experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Mining or Power Generation industries
  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills
  • Background with Mechanical Engineering
