Role Description
The Business Development Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for identifying, nurturing, and converting new business opportunities across Blake Atlantic Group's portfolio and target markets. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market research, prospecting and lead generation, and maintaining pipelines of potential partners, clients, and investors. The specialist will engage in outreach via email, calls, and virtual meetings, prepare proposals and presentations, and support negotiations in collaboration with senior leadership. The role also involves tracking performance metrics, optimizing outreach strategies, and working closely with internal teams to align business development efforts with overall company objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret market data, assess opportunities, and support data-informed decision-making.
- Effective Communication abilities, including clear written and verbal communication, presentation skills, and professional relationship-building.
- Lead Generation experience, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and managing CRM tools or sales pipelines.
- Market Research capabilities to analyze industries, competitors, and trends and provide actionable insights.
- Customer Service skills to foster trust, respond to inquiries, and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
- Experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or related fields, preferably in multi-industry or investment environments.
- Comfort working in a remote setting with strong time management, organization, and self-direction.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency with productivity and CRM tools, and familiarity with financial or investment concepts is a plus.
