Job Purpose
The role holder will be responsible for oversight of day-to-day operations ensuring operational efficiency of office of CME.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain institutional Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) accreditation
- Oversee and ensure compliance of institutional CME activities to ACCME standards and CME policies
- Establish and enforce institutional CME mission, vision and policies governing CME activity
- Provides regular strategic reports to senior leadership, governing bodies, and accrediting organizations
- Maintain effective stakeholder managaement to support and advance institutional CME
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Office of Continuing Medical Education (OCME).
- Review CME activity reports to ensure operational efficiency, quality, and compliance.
- Prepare, manage, and monitor the annual OCME budget.
- Conduct staff appraisals and support professional development and growth of OCME employees.
- Submit and present annual and on-demand CME reports to the CME Committee (CMEC).
- Review accreditation reports, audit outcomes, activity performance data, and evaluations.
- Develop and present recommendations for continuous improvement to CMEC.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support CME initiatives.
- Maintain clear documentation and reporting for governance and quality assurance purposes.
