Role Description

The Electric Technical Office Engineer role at Buildtec Group involves managing and supervising electrical engineering tasks for ongoing construction projects. This is a full-time, on-site position based in New Cairo. The responsibilities include preparing and reviewing shop drawings, ensuring compliance with design specifications, preparing bill of quantities (BOQ), coordinating with project teams for material and cost estimations, and supporting the successful delivery of projects. Candidates will also collaborate with multiple teams to ensure quality assurance, monitor progress, and maintain project documentation efficiently.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Electrical Engineering and knowledge of Civil Engineering concepts with proven experience at least for 5 years .

Skilled in preparing and reviewing Shop Drawings and BOQ (Bill of Quantities)

Experience in Quantity Surveying for construction projects

Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in project documentation

Strong communication and coordination skills for effective teamwork

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD and MS Office

Experience working in on-site construction environments is an advantage
