We are hiring an engineering manager to drive development of world class SaaS based Logistic and fulfillment products. Our product is a carrier agnostic SaaS platform that digitalizes logistics by integrating and optimizing business processes and adding a predictability layer to make logistics and fulfillment more efficient. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who thrives in a startup environment, balances people management with architecture decisions, and delivers reliable, scalable systems for logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership
Lead the design and development of scalable, high-availability systems for logistics, transportation, and supply chain workflows.
Drive architecture decisions for core platforms including order management, shipment tracking, routing, inventory, and integrations.
Review code, enforce engineering best practices, and ensure high standards for quality, performance, and security.
Own system reliability, scalability, and technical debt management.
Manage technical debt backlogs and implement standard operating procedures to improve engineering efficiency.
Technical Strategy
Collaborate with Product and Design teams to define technical roadmaps.
Oversee system architecture and ensure technical accuracy in the team's output.
People & Team Management
Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing engineering team in a startup environment.
Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development planning.
Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Hire and onboard engineers aligned with startup pace and culture.
Delivery & Execution
Partner with Product, Operations, and Business teams to translate logistics requirements into technical solutions
Own sprint planning, prioritization, and delivery commitments. Manage project lifecycles using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Balance speed vs. stability while delivering features in an iterative, agile manner
Ensure predictable delivery timelines in a fast-changing startup roadmap. Define milestones, remove roadblocks, and ensure timely, high-quality releases.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Serve as the primary liaison between technical staff and non-technical executives or external clients.
Act as a bridge between business, product, and engineering teams.
Communicate technical tradeoffs clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Support customer-facing teams for enterprise logistics clients when needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1012+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3+ years as an Engineering Manager or Tech Lead.
Strong background in building SaaS or platform products in a startup or scale-up environment.
Experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or Warehouse Management Systems, OMS, last-mile delivery, route optimization, and carrier integrations.
Hands-on experience with modern tech stacks (microservices, APIs, cloud-native systems) and programming languages Java, Python and frontend technologies.
Strong understanding of system design, distributed systems, and integrations.
Experience working with real-time data, event-driven systems, and third-party integrations.
Deep knowledge of Agile/Scrum development practices
Strong leadership, ownership, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-changing priorities.
Product-oriented mindset with a focus on customer impact.
Prior experience scaling engineering teams in early-stage or growth-stage startups.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure).
Experience with data pipelines, analytics, and reporting systems.
