About Our Client
Our client is a diversified international group operating across emerging and established markets, with a strong presence in natural resources and industrial sectors. The business manages multiple operating companies and offshore holding structures, with a central finance team based in the UAE overseeing governance, reporting, and compliance.
Job Description
- Manage full bookkeeping activities for multiple operating companies and offshore holding entities using ERP or accounting systems
- Prepare monthly management accounts including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow statements with clear variance analysis
- Perform intercompany reconciliations across group entities and ensure balances are agreed, documented and cleared on a timely basis
- Reconcile trade transactions including purchase and sales invoices, shipping documentation and payment records
- Handle daily banking activities such as payments, receipts, bank reconciliations and coordination with UAE banks
- Monitor cash positions and flag liquidity requirements to senior finance stakeholders
- Coordinate annual statutory audits by preparing schedules, supporting documentation and responding to audit queries
- Support UAE VAT returns, Corporate Tax calculations and Economic Substance filings in line with regulatory deadlines
- Liaise with international finance teams to collate data for transfer pricing documentation
- Maintain books for offshore holding entities including loan transactions, interest accruals and equity movements
- Track regulatory filings, licence renewals and compliance deadlines across all assigned entities
- Support a growing finance function with evolving processes in a multi‑jurisdictional environment
The Successful Applicant
- Candidates must be based in the UAE
- 3 to 6 years of total finance and accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or Business
- Part qualified or qualified professional certifications are advantageous
- Strong hands-on bookkeeping and general ledger experience
- Proven exposure to UAE VAT and Corporate Tax filings
- Experience supporting external audits
- Working knowledge of ERP or accounting systems such as Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks or SAP
- Experience working with multiple entities across different jurisdictions
- Multi‑entity consolidation experience is a bonus
- Working knowledge of IFRS is preferred
