Job Description

We're seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Dubai-based team. You will monitor financial performance, manage accounting operations and prepare internal and regulatory compliant reports. This role supports the UAE entity and the wider global group of companies across Malaysia, Thailand, South Africa, Cyprus, and Colombia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and regulatory reports.
  • Monitor actual vs. budget performance, assist in forecasting and cash flow planning, and support global financial planning and budgeting processes.
  • Analyze business performance, cost structures, and revenue pipelines.
  • Prepare and submit UAE VAT and Corporate Tax reports.
  • Liaise with regulators, external auditors, and tax authorities during audits, inspections, and reviews.
  • Support the preparation of capital adequacy statements (if required).
  • Develop and maintain management dashboards and KPIs to track financial and operational performance.
  • Contribute to pricing strategy, operational modelling, and investment analysis.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls and compliance frameworks across all entities.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
  • Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure all financial records meet audit, compliance, and reporting standards across the group.
  • Consolidate financial results across subsidiaries and regions (Malaysia, Thailand, South Africa, Cyprus, and Colombia) and prepare group-level reports and variance analyses.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, ACCA, or CPA are preferred.
  • 24 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or accounting within the financial services or fintech industry.
  • Strong understanding of UAE SCA regulations, IFRS standards, and global financial reporting processes.
  • Proven experience with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance.
  • Skilled in financial consolidation, variance analysis, and implementation of compliance frameworks.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP/accounting systems.
