Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Functional Specialist. The Functional Specialist will be responsible for conducting functional testing, driving system integrations, and providing guidance on business processes. The Functional Specialist will also be responsible for communicating effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and facilitate testing activities.
Qualifications
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering solutions to complex problems.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, document requirements, and gather feedback.
- Experience with business processes, mapping and modelling with the ability to identify process gaps and propose solutions to bridge them.
- Experience with functional testing, test plans, test cases, test data and test automation.
- Experience in systems integration, APIs and middleware.
- Experience with Agile development practices, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean methodologies.
- Relevant degree in Computer Science, information technology, engineering, or similar fields.
- Any relevant certifications such as ISTQB, CSM, PMP, or Six Sigma are a plus.
