General Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily/periodic reconciliation of bank accounts and cash balances to ensure accuracy.
• Reconcile accounts payable (suppliers) and accounts receivable (customers) and resolve discrepancies.
• Review daily journal entries to ensure compliance with accounting policies and accuracy of postings.
• Prepare periodic financial and management reports (bank positions, cash, customers, suppliers).
• Conduct regular reviews to identify anomalies, unusual transactions, or inconsistencies in the accounts and resolve them promptly.
• Ensure supporting documents are complete, accurate, and properly archived.
• Assist in monthly closing activities and prepare necessary adjustments and reconciliations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, or equivalent.
• 24 years of experience in general accounting, reconciliation, or financial review.
• Solid knowledge of accounting and IFRS.
• Proficiency in ERP (Odoo experience isa plus)
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• High level of accuracy and integrity.
• Problem-solving and anomaly detection mindset.
