About the client:

KAI Collections is a renowned fashion brand dedicated to delivering high-quality designs while ensuring the alignment of creativity with commercial performance. We are currently looking for an experienced Head of Fashion Design to join our creative team and lead our design vision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creative Direction: Define and lead the overall design vision and brand identity.

• Collection Development: Oversee the end-to-end design process of seasonal collections.

• Trend Analysis: Identify and interpret market trends, turning them into commercially successful designs.

• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the design team, providing guidance and feedback.

• Product Development: Collaborate with production teams to ensure design feasibility and quality.

• Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs align with KAI Collections brand guidelines and values.

• Market Alignment: Balance creativity with commercial performance, aligning with customer demand.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, merchandising, and sales teams to ensure cohesive brand presentation.

• Vendor & Supplier Coordination: Manage relationships with external suppliers and vendors for materials and production.

• Quality Control: Oversee the quality control of all design execution and final products.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field from AUC, GUC, or any recognized international university.

• Additional certifications or diplomas in arts and fashion will be considered an added value.

Skills and Experience:

• Strong knowledge of market trends and commercial design.

• Ability to mentor and lead a creative team.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• A passion for fashion and creativity with a keen eye for detail.
