Our client is seeking a hands-on professional to oversee the operation, maintenance, and commercial development of heavy equipment activities. This role combines technical understanding of equipment with the ability to identify new business opportunities, manage client relationships, and support the growth of the equipment rental and services portfolio.
The position requires a proactive individual who can ensure equipment reliability and utilization while also contributing to revenue generation through contract acquisition and market development.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Maintenance
- Oversee day-to-day operation and performance of heavy equipment.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Ensure equipment readiness, safety compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor equipment condition and lifecycle performance.
- Liaise with technicians, suppliers, and service providers.
Marketing & Business Development
- Identify opportunities to increase equipment utilization through new projects and clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, project owners, and partners.
- Support preparation of commercial offers and participate in negotiations.
- Monitor market activity and identify demand within construction and infrastructure sectors.
- Contribute to securing rental contracts and service agreements.
Planning & Coordination
- Track equipment usage and support planning to maximize efficiency.
- Coordinate between technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Ensure timely follow-up on client requests and project requirements.
- Maintain structured records related to operations and project pipeline.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in heavy equipment operation, maintenance, or rental environments.
- Exposure to construction sector or heavy equipment rental companies.
- Understanding of equipment lifecycle and maintenance requirements.
- Experience in client-facing or commercial activities is preferred.
- Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Result-oriented mindset with ability to manage multiple priorities.
