Human Resources Specialist – Manufacturing Plant

Location: Dubai

Employment Type: Full‑time

Industry: Manufacturing / Industrial Operations

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Human Resources Specialist to support our new manufacturing plant. This role is critical in building strong HR operations from the ground up, ensuring compliance, supporting workforce planning, and driving a disciplined, people‑first culture in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate is hands‑on, process‑driven, and comfortable working closely with operations, supervisors, and leadership on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end‑to‑end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee records, leave management, and offboarding.
  • Support manpower planning and recruitment for production, technical, and support roles.
  • Ensure accurate implementation of working calendars, shifts, attendance, overtime, leave allocation, and payroll inputs.
  • Maintain employee files and HR documentation in line with company policies, labor law requirements, and audit standards.
  • Coordinate with Finance and Operations to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
  • Support performance management processes, probation confirmations, and employee evaluations.
  • Handle employee relations matters professionally, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and policy clarifications.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and internal procedures.
  • Assist in HR reporting, dashboards, and KPI tracking (headcount, turnover, absenteeism, etc.).
  • Support HR audits, ISO requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives within HR processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR operations, and payroll coordination.
  • Experience working with HR systems (ERP/HRMS such as Odoo is a plus).
  • High attention to detail with strong documentation and organizational skills.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work confidently with shop‑floor and management teams.
  • Strong sense of ownership - able to commit to deadlines and ensure tasks are completed.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, structured manufacturing environment.
