Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Tangier for an Information Technology Support Technician. The role involves providing technical support, diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining and repairing desktop computers and printers, and ensuring the functionality of IT-related equipment. The technician will also assist in setting up IT hardware and supporting end-user inquiries to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide technical support to end-users, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

2. Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.

3. Repair and maintain desktop computers, printers, and related peripherals.

4. Assist with desktop setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.

5. Ensure IT equipment is properly maintained to support business continuity.

Qualifications

  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Hands-on experience in Desktop Computer support, including configuration and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in handling Printer Support and ensuring the functionality of peripheral devices.
  • Skills in Computer Repair, including maintenance and component replacement.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills to effectively assist end-users.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  • Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications) are a plus.
  • Prior experience in IT support roles is preferred.
  • Very good French and above average English (both oral and written).
