Field service engineer 

• Title: field service engineer (Oil and Gas Industry)

Job description:

We are looking for a Field Service engineer this is a full-time on-site role located in New Cairo. The Field Service engineer will be responsible for site service, installation, commissioning, repair, calibration, maintenance, and training.

Responsibilities:

1.    Troubleshooting and Technical Support:

-Troubleshooting, testing, repairing and servicing technical equipment.

Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions

2. Service and maintenance:

-Providing service and maintenance support during field visits. 

-They will also coordinate with customer representatives in the field and MI Logging Systems operations department 

-Producing service and maintenance reports and Documenting processes

- Making appropriate recommendations and briefing on repairs, diagnostics and equipment specifications

3. Installation and commissioning:

-Conduct field installations and commissioning and calibrations of sensors and systems

-Perform field upgrades of software and hardware and train customers on how to properly operate the system.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field
• Experience in servicing, maintaining, and/or calibrating electronic/analytical equipment
• Familiarity with oilfield terminology and test operations
• Ability to prioritize and manage time-sensitive and competing demands
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a team environment with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Arabic and English
• Willingness to travel on short notice both domestically and internationally
