Job Description

  • Plan warehouses and distribution centers for efficiency in both operations and capacity
  • Organize transportation activities, including storage of goods, managing information accrued from point of origin to delivery, orchestrating transportation movements, and arranging for services as necessary
  • Coordinate and track movement of goods through logistic pathways
  • Execute logistics plan to move products and packages to reach destinations on schedule
  • Maintains quality throughout the logistic processes
  • Handle all logistics activities of export and import materials, spare parts and gold shipments
  • Search and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers
  • Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases
  • Create and maintain good relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Negotiate appropriate contracts for pricing and supply
  • Examine and review products and supplies to ensure quality
  • Track incoming inventory, delivery arrival time, and note actual arrival time
  • Organize and update database of suppliers, delivery times, invoices, and evaluation of suppliers
  • Ensure all deliveries contain all goods requested

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree of Business Administration, logistics or any relevant field
  • Strong understanding of Logistics systems and countries regulations
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Works well with deadlines,
  • Knowledge of logistics systems,
  • Understanding of transportation limitations and regulations
  • Previous experience in Manufacturing or Construction is a must
  • Previous experience in import and export companies is a plus
