Red Sea Sports & Entertainment (RSSE) is a dedicated subsidiary of Red Sea Global (RSG), responsible for designing and delivering outstanding land and marine experiences at The Red Sea destination. RSSE manages and operates a diverse portfolio of sports, adventure, and leisure offerings, including water sports through Galaxea, adventure activities via Akun, and leisure experiences delivered by WAMA.

RSSE plays a key strategic role in the partnership between Red Sea Global and the Saudi Olympic & Paralympic Committee, united by a shared ambition to promote inclusive, accessible, and world-class sports and recreational experiences.

Job Purpose

The Manager – Dive Center is a site-based leadership role responsible for the overall management, performance, and day-to-day operations of the GALAXEA Dive Center within The Red Sea destination.

This role ensures the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of all diving activities, courses, and guest experiences, in line with luxury hospitality standards and international diving regulations. The Manager – Dive Center is accountable for operational excellence, team leadership, asset readiness, and commercial performance, while contributing to the growth and positioning of GALAXEA as a world-class diving destination.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Management

  • Lead and manage all daily operations of the GALAXEA Dive Center, ensuring seamless execution of diving activities.
  • Oversee scheduling, resource allocation, and guest flow management.
  • Ensure all diving activities are conducted safely, professionally, and in compliance with SOPs and training agency standards.
  • Monitor operational performance, service delivery, and guest satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for operational and guest-related matters.

2. Guest Experience & Service Excellence

  • Ensure delivery of exceptional, personalized diving experiences aligned with luxury service standards.
  • Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction through proactive engagement and service excellence.
  • Manage guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery where required.
  • Promote a strong guest-centric culture across the team.

3. Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of instructors, divemasters, technicians, and marine crew.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure all staff maintain valid certifications and meet required competency standards.
  • Foster a high-performance, safety-driven, and collaborative team environment.

4. Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure the highest standards of safety across all dive operations.
  • Enforce compliance with international diving standards (e.g., PADI or equivalent), local regulations, and company policies.
  • Oversee risk assessments, emergency procedures, and incident management.
  • Ensure all safety equipment is operational, inspected, and maintained.

5. Asset & Equipment Management

  • Oversee the maintenance, servicing, and readiness of all dive equipment, vessels, and facilities.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management, asset tracking, and lifecycle planning.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure timely servicing and repairs.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation across the dive center.

6. Commercial & Retail Performance

  • Manage all dive center revenue streams, including courses, guided dives, and retail sales.
  • Monitor financial performance, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Optimize retail offerings, pricing strategies, and upselling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote GALAXEA diving experiences.

7. Pre-Opening & Development

  • Support the setup, testing, and operational readiness of the GALAXEA Dive Center.
  • Assist in developing SOPs, operational frameworks, and safety protocols.
  • Contribute to the expansion and continuous enhancement of dive operations within GALAXEA.

8. Environmental Stewardship

  • Champion marine conservation and responsible diving practices.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability initiatives.
  • Educate guests and staff on marine life protection and responsible tourism.

9. Policies, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and operational standards.
  • Maintain accurate operational, financial, and safety records.
  • Provide regular performance reports to senior management.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvement and service enhancement.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Marine Science, or a related field.
  • Certified Dive Instructor (e.g., PADI OWSI or equivalent) with active status.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in diving operations or dive center management.
  • Proven experience managing teams within a luxury or high-end environment.
  • Strong knowledge of diving safety standards and operational best practices.
  • Fit-to-dive medical certification.

  • Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Desirable Skills

  • Additional instructor ratings or specialty certifications.
  • Experience in dive retail and commercial operations.
  • Knowledge of marine conservation and sustainability practices.
  • Additional language proficiency (preferably Arabic).
  • Experience in underwater photography/videography.

Job Context

  • Site-based role at the GALAXEA Dive Center within The Red Sea destination.
  • Requires flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak seasons.
  • Involves both operational leadership and guest-facing responsibilities.
